Dr. Steven Oviedo

Dr. Steven Oviedo has know from a young age that two things were certain: his passion for the Texas Longhorns and his desire to pursue a career in dentistry. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 (Hook'em), and later achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2022. Dr. Oviedo's commitment to making a meaningful impact on people's lives led him to dentistry, where the combination of hands-on care, art, and science provides the ideal platform for fulfilling his goals. His passion for the profession grew during his time working at Kunik Orthodontics between college and dental school, further solidifying his dedication to dentistry as his lifelong career.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Oviedo has a variety of interests, including playing the guitar, attending concerts, hunting, fishing, running, and of course, rooting for the Texas Longhorns. Having fallen in love with Austin during his college years, he found it to be the perfect place to establish both his home and dental career.
